I was born on the 14th of July in the city of Schwandorf (Bavaria/Germany).

Growing up in the countryside of the Oberpfalz region it only seemed natural to me at first that „nonhuman“ animals are tortured, exploited and killed for my needs.

From 1998 to 2003 I studied communications design with illustration as a main subject at the University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg.

On the 22nd of May 1999, after a long conversation with my vegan friend Tobias Graf, it became clear that I couldn't justify my eating behavior any longer and practically overnight I became a vegetarian. Ever since that day this topic has influenced my artistry and I have been constantly looking for ideas about how to illustrate the paradoxical relationship between „human and nonhuman“ animals with concepts and images.

Since 2003 I have been working free-lance as a graphic designer and illustrator.

In the year 2006 I founded the vegan lifestyle label „AVENGING ANIMALS the vegan brandmark“ with Tobias Graf and thereby created a first successful platform to introduce VEGAN ART.

Together with my wife Yvonne, son Demian, daughter Juna Valena and other animal housemates I live – now vegan – in my hometown of Fensterbach-Duernsricht.

Hey Felipe, I thank you for your comment! At a rough estimate in Germany (population of 82 Millions) are circa 8 - 10 Millions vegetarians ...continue to be more and more. :-)

Roland, I am very happy for the numbers of their country. About 10% - Very good! For here, in Brazil, although we are beginning to realize the importance of vegetarianism. We do not have precise data on the amount of the vegetarian population, but estimates suggest 5% of the population (total population: 183 million). I would like to continue discussing the matter with you.

Hey liebe Petra, Danke für Dein Feedback! Wenn ich Dich anhand Deines Profiles richtig verstehe, stehst Du auf die Vorstellung gemolken zu werden und praktizierst das als Fetisch!? Krass, so bist Du die erste Frau die ich kenne, die durch mein Bild "erregt" wird. :-) Warst du den vorher schwanger und hast gestillt...oder hast Du einfach durch regelmäßiges saugen/melken den Milchfluss angeregt!? - Würde mich voll interessieren. – Und stehst Du auf Kuhmilch? – Dich könnte man super für Tierrechtsaktionen in der Fussgängerzone "missbrauchen"! Denn wir Tierrechtler rennen ja schon mal nackt mit Stierhörnchen auf dem Kopf durch Pamplona oder machen Schauschlachten um Aufmerksamkeit auf das Leid der Tiere zu lenken - aber live gemolken wurde noch niemals! PeTA wäre sofort an Dir interessesiert... und Du hast sogar noch Spaß dabei! ;-) Liebe Grüße Roland

Great gallery. Your art is thought provoking as well as stunning. The points you are trying to convey are easy to decipher without the aid of commentary while leaving enough ambiguity in some to be applicable to many people. Great job.
